Angels

An angel whispered in your ear,

Come and walk with me.
For heaven is a lovely place,
Painless, kind, and free.

Your mother's here,
Your father too,  Many whom you've missed-
Years and years theyve waited for you to give a hug and kiss.

And if you take a look back down, your loved ones miss you there,
They can't see you, but you'll hear their prayers, theyll feel you everywhere.

They'll always have your memories tucked inside their heart,
And someday they'll all be called home, and you'll no longer be apart.

And If you spread your arms out wide, and shower down your love,
Your family will feel it in their hearts from way up here above.

About the Author
Kayla is a 25 year old college student working on achieving her degree in Business Administration. From a young age, she has been blessed with the ability to put her thoughts to paper and create beautiful poetry that has touched the hearts of many. Growing up in rural Ohio, experiencing the beauty of living in Europe, and currently absorbing the laid back atmosphere of relaxing beachside in Florida have all played a role in developing Kayla's senses at a writer. Losing her grandfather to cancer in May of 2013, and her father in August of 2014 have inspired Kayla to channel her emotions into poetry which she would love to share with anyone experiencing this pain.
