A Grace Observed: A short film about God's grace in the midst of great loss

When I was a senior in high school, just 6 short years ago, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and passed away just a couple of months later. She was an incredible woman and her death was a devastating loss for our community and my family.

My Dad has always encouraged me to share my story with others because we never know what they may be going through or how our experiences may help them. I've taken his advice and amped it up a bit by creating a mini documentary about my families story (focused on the topic of grief) through the non-profit I help direct, Kala Project.

The film can explain our story much better than my writing. Please take a few minutes to give it a watch! Our desire for this short film is to provide a very real example of how hope can be found in the midst of great loss.
