“At last I can say I am a little farther down this road.  My life has changed so much in the four and a half years since my beautiful daughter Ashley died in August of 2001.  There were times when I did not think I would make it as I could barely function when the pain was so fresh.  God’s grace, good friends and family and the healing hands of time have gently carried me to the place I stand today.  I miss Ashley everyday; she will always be in my heart and a part of all that I do. 

Ashley inspires me to keep moving forward, to keep writing songs about our journey and to keep reaching out to somebody else.  Words cannot express my gratitude to the thousands of you who buy my music and come out to hear me speak and play.  Your love and support keep me moving forward even further down this road.  I pray this music touches you, inspires you, but most of all takes you to that sacred place in your heart where you remember the ones you love.  May God give you peace on your journey as you continue to go a little farther down the road.”
