Cason’s Place: Grief Support for Grieving Children and Families of Eastern Oregon provides peer support to children, teens and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one.
The preventive program provides group support, coordinated trained volunteers to promote the expression of grief and loss; the understanding of death, loss and the process of grief; and decrease feelings of isolation associated with grief.
We aim to serve families in Eastern Oregon/Washington who are committed to attend bi monthly peer support groups. Cason’s Place is the only organization between Portland, Oregon and Kennewick, Washington that is dedicated to serving the needs of grieving children, teens and their families in a free of charge, on-going open ended, peer support group format.
Cason’s Place extends supportive services and resources to the community in need of grief support via web site information, consultation and presentations. We are a not-for-profit, charitable organization, that receives support from the community and individual donors.
Cason’s Place is a 501(c)(3) organization.
