This Group is for Parents, Grandparents, older Siblings and even Aunts and Uncles in the local area who have suffered the loss of a Child, Grandchild, Sibling, Niece or Nephew, for any reason, at any age. The situations or reasons for our loss may all be different, but if it's one thing that I have learned along the way, our pain is the same. The pain of losing them, living without them. And even though it's hard to do, we can share their lives, their stories and bear them with each other here... Hoping to help each other endure the pain, the loss and help one another heal one day at a time... We'll never get over losing them, we'll never be the same, be shadowed by the darkness of grief... But through that darkness there can be a light, yes it can and may be very hard to see... but it's there, its there in the love we have for our children, it's there in the mist of the tears, it's there in the pain we feel, it's there because of the smile also thinking of them, it's there cause of the happiness they gave, it's there through it all, Because Our Children Love Us Too!!! 

I am Pleased to Announce that "Healing After Losing One's Child" is now a part of the Community Christian Fellowships Outreach, I am Blessed to be a part of this church as an Individual and hope that this group can be a blessing to the community of parents that are Christian, of other religious affiliation or of non religious beliefs out there who are hurting, lost in their grief and looking for help from others like themselves. This is about reaching people, families grieving and just wanting and needing help!! The Face2Face meetings will be Every 3rd Thursday at 7 PM. We can share our children and our grief for anybody that would like to come. And I would also like to have special events to honor and remember our children, like Candle Lightings, balloon releases, sky lantern releases and maybe even group outings and picnics... or any other events anyone would have an idea to do...

The old saying goes........"It takes a village to raise a child", so question now is, what happens when something happens to a child, My thought is, "It takes a village to endure the pain to heal along our grief journey" WE ARE A VILLAGE!! A village of loving, caring, wonderful people who through tragedy have come together to share the love of our children, the grief that we bear and the sadness we share...

I can lend an ear to listen to your story and offer you my hand to hold tight while you struggle to tell it…
I can give you a shoulder to lean on when you feel like you can’t go on and hold yourself up…
I’ll share with you my strength and my tears for when you don’t think you have any left to give…
And I’ll show you compassion from my heart to help yours heal everyday that yours breaks all over again…
