Helping Parents Heal is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting bereaved parents to become Shining Light Parents by providing support and resources to aid in the healing process. We go a step beyond other groups by allowing the open discussion of spiritual experiences and evidence for the afterlife, in a non-dogmatic way. Affiliate groups welcome everyone regardless of religious (or non-religious) background and allow for open dialog.

We are here for parents, siblings and grandparents or other supporting family member who would like to connect with others who have experienced the passing of a child. Meetings are held once a month, please call or email for the current schedule.  HPH will offer a variety of speakers and resources to allow parents to be informed about the many possible ways to heal, to connect with their children and learn about the Afterlife.  Attendance at our meetings is voluntary and is for the benefit of learning and sharing with other parents/families whose child has passed away. We will also end with a brief guided relaxation and Heartfulness meditation, a simple technique to access the resources of light within the heart.  The location the meeting is held is central to Akron and Cleveland at: The Heartfulness Meditation Center, 5425 Warner Rd. #1A, Valley View, OH 4415.  Please call if you have any questions.

It is understood that our discussions are intended to be confidential and not designed to replace traditional therapy or spiritual counseling. Our common goal is to celebrate the lives of our children and to ultimately help each other with the healing process.
