TWWND is a collection of people who are looking to explore the area and are looking for companion explorers. Our goal is to offer one event per week. We will gather over meals, go to see shows, organize book clubs, attend lectures, and enjoy local attractions.  I'll be striving to offer one free event per month. Widows and widowers from all over the area will be welcome. Look forward to trips to museums, concerts, shopping at Gipsy Village for mystical treasures, dinner with a musical "oldies" Bingo game, tour the Living History Farm, enjoy the Scottish Highland Games, get spooked at the Ghost Walk along the Waccamaw River, have lunch of "chicken bog" at a microbrewery, all while making new friends.

Membership is restricted to widows and widowers, but guests will be welcome at most events, with permission. Guest attendance is limited to two events as non-members. TWWND group is NOT a dating site; other sites and groups do a better job of that. If you should meet someone through our group and begin dating...good for you, but that is not the purpose of this Meetup.
