It seems unfair that the world continues on at a time when you wish it would just stop for a moment. Doesn’t the world know that someone dear to you has died? For many of us the return to work and managing the aspects of our lives that require our attention demand that we set our grief aside. This forced neglecting of our emotions can be very draining and harmful for many people.
It is with this in mind that Hospice is pleased to announce a new monthly grief group focused on individuals that have begun the slow process of picking up pieces of your life but still would like to have a moment of reflection, a chance to talk about their loved one, or to talk about what they are going through in a safe space; where you don’t have to feel judged or that you are wasting the time of a co-worker or friend that you typically talk to.
This group starts Thursday July 25th at 6pm at the Hospice office at 21 Hayes St. in Norwich and will continue on the 4th Thursday of each month at that time. Please RSVP to Jessica at 334-3556 by July 23rd to reserve your spot.
